Our Achievements

2023
We introduced "Life Insurance for Farmers” product targeted at customers holding İşbank’s İmece Card.
We offered "Overdraft Account Life Insurance" for sale for İşbank's overdraft account holder customers.
Within the frame of PPS, we put “Citizenship Pension Plan” on sale in line with the regulatory framework introduced for exceptional acquisition of Turkish Citizenship by foreigners.
We put Credit Card Support Insurance product on sale via İşbank’s İşCep mobile app.
We initiated “Digital PPS Application” process, which is intended to terminate the use of printed application forms in face-to-face sales and to provide digital execution of the entire sales process using tablet PCs.
We introduced “Customized Future Planning for You” service which suggests the investment and financial protection products that best fit customers’ needs and expectations.
Under the collaboration with BlindLook, we integrated BlindLook’s Audio Simulation technology for visually-impaired individuals in our corporate website, our internet branch AHE Online and our mobile app AHE Mobil.
We established collaborations with ecosystems and financial institutions operating in different sectors, which enabled availability of our private pension and life insurance products on various digital platforms.
Number of participants in the “Pension Plan for Children” exceeded 250 thousand.
Our “Pension Plan for Children” product earned the Best Pension Plan for Children-Türkiye 2023 Award at the UK-based Global Banking & Finance Awards organized since 2011 to recognize the achievements, innovations and inspiring developments in the finance world.
With our Pension Plan for Children product, we were given the Award of Excellence in the Marketing Effectiveness category at The Communicator Awards which was organized for the 29th time by the New York-based Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts and which recognizes strategic, effective and meaningful communication.
We completed 2022-2023 academic year activities that make the first phase of the social responsibility project “Tohum Kumbaram” and started 2023-2024 academic year activities for the second term of the project. From the inception of the project until year-end 2023, we reached more than 10 thousand children.
We were named the happiest workplace in the life insurance and private pension sector in Türkiye’s Happiest Workplaces Survey co-executed by Happy Place to Work and Capital Magazine, and qualified to receive “Extraordinary Employee Experience” certification.
We organized “Shots from Life as Seen by Women” photography contest for the 17th time.
We ranked 69th in BrandFinance Turkey 100-2023, which lists the most valuable 100 brands in Türkiye and is prepared by BrandFinance, the world’s leading independent brand valuation consultancy, making us one of Türkiye’s 100 strongest brands with a brand equity of USD 200 million.
We received the Silver Prize in the Private Pension and Life Insurance Category Data Awards section at SocialBrands Data Analytics Awards 2023 co-organized by Marketing Türkiye and BoomSonar and supported by Deloitte Türkiye’s expertise.
We were the second most reputable brand in the insurance sector according to the Digital Reputation Report 100 that made its debut in Türkiye, a survey co-organized by the Inbusiness magazine and 18.45 Communication Agency that named the brands with the highest digital reputation.
Our “Short-Term Investment/Long-Term Investment” advertising campaign claimed Silver Award in the Insurance Services category at the Türkiye Awards by Effie, jointly organized by EACA (European Association of Communications Agencies)-member advertisers’ associations and advertising agency associations across 55 countries around the world and regarded as the world’s most challenging and prestigious competition in marketing and advertising efficiency.
At the Smart-i Awards organized by Erişim Media Group to promote products and services targeted at developing the insurance sector, highlight innovative projects and encourage creativity, we received Silver Prize with AHE-Digital PPS project in the Digital Transformation category, and the Bronze prize with the Customized Future Planning for You project in the Most Innovative Product category.
We were named as the “Most Insurtech Insurance Company” at the 2023 Türkiye Insurtech Awards organized by Insurtech Hub with its digital services and applications such as “Customized Future Planning for You”, AHE-Digital PPS Application, FonMatik ROBO and Online Sales.
We were ranked in the first place in “Brands Delivering the Best Customer Experience Throughout the Year - Private Pension” category at the A.L.F.A. Awards 2023 co-organized by Marketing Türkiye and Akademetre. Named the “Customer Brand” of the year in the “Private Pension” category, the Company was deemed worthy of this award for the fifth time.

We put “Pension Plan for Tradesmen” and “AHE Dividend Paying Companies Equity Fund” on sale.
Parents of 1 out of every 3 children included in the PPS in the under-18 customer segment preferred Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik.
We started to support nature education carried out by the TEMA Foundation for building on ecological literacy and skills of children and young people at secondary and high school age with the funds allocated to the foundation under the “Pension Plan for Children”.
We started to upcycle coffee grounds collected in our offices under the cooperation initiated with Wastespresso as part of sustainability efforts.
We participated in the Target Gender Equality program initiated by the United Nations Global Compact.
We organized a Datathon on contribution increase projection to better the offers to private pension customers to increase their contributions to be entitled to higher state contributions and to reach higher savings.

We were ranked in the top 100 brands in the “General” category of the Value Added Index (KENDEKS) compiled by the Türkiye Reputation Academy with the support of Beykoz University.
With the “Pension Plan for Children”, we gained the Gold Smart-I Award in the “Best Retention, Marketing Achievement” category at Smart-i Awards 2022 and Bronze Award in the “Financial Services” category at the International Business Awards organized by the Stevie Awards (USA).
The Short-Term Investment/ Long-Term Investment advertising campaign garnered a total of 5 awards (1 Grand Prize, 2 Crystal Apple and 2 Silver awards) at the Crystal Apple organized by the Advertisers’ Association. The campaign received another 3 awards in total, namely Gold Felis and Achievement Award in the “Film Felis – Finance” category and Gold Felis award in the “Change Makers” category at the Felis Awards organized by Kapital Medya.
We were awarded first prize in the “Best Product and Service” category at Best Business Awards 2022 organized by Awards Intelligence (UK) with our digital sales channels, and third prize in the “Digital Channels” category at the IDC Türkiye Fintech Awards 2022 organized by the International Data Corporation (IDC) Türkiye.
AHE Mobil was awarded the Gold Prize in the “Mobile Purchasing Experience” category at the MarCom Awards organized by the Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals (AMCP - USA) and the superiority award in the “Mobile Applications/Sites – Best User Experience” category at the Communicator Awards 2022 organized by the Academy of Interactive&Visual Arts.
We organized Gamesurance Hackathon to promote the usage of our digital service channels AHE Online and AHE Mobil.

2021
We etched our name among Turkey’s most valuable 100 brands at the Brand Finance Turkey 100-2021 survey by Brand Finance, the world’s leading independent brand valuation consultancy.
We were recognized with the “Customers’ Friend” award since 2017 by ICERTIAS, a Switzerland-based international certification association, we added “Superior Excellence”, the highest accolade, to our collection with the Superior Excellence in Customer Relationships medal.
We were awarded the “Gold Prize” for the fifth time in the “Private Pension and Life Insurance” category at the “Social Media Awards Turkey”, the first most comprehensive social media competition in Turkey coorganized by Marketing Türkiye and BoomSonar.
We held “Shots From Life As Seen By Women” photography contest for the 15th time and won the Gold PSM award.
At the MarCom Awards organized by AMCP (Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals) based in US, we were awarded for our Marketing/ Promotion Campaigns, with Platinum prize for our “Sustainability” and “Technology Sector” Equity Pension Funds and the Gold prize for our “Pension Plan for Children”.

Our private pension fund advisory robot FonMatik ROBO won the first prize in the “Best Customer Focus” category at the Best Business Awards 2021, an international business recognition program organized by the UK-based Awards Intelligence for 11 years.
Our first Sustainability Report covering 2020 activities and prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards was released.

We launched cooperation with the TurkishBank in order to expand the distribution network in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

2019
We captured leadership in the total number of unique participants in private pension and auto enrolment systems.
With its content and infrastructure revamped, we relaunched our website with a contemporary, user-friendly design in June 2019.
With the new corporate website we won bronze in the “Website Awards-Insurance” category at the Stevie Awards.
We completed the development enabling transitioning to AHE Mobile from İşCep mobile app without entering a password.
We launched AHE Assistant, the AI-based (artificial intelligence-based) chatbot application as part of customer-centered digitalization, on the new website in June 2019.
We launched FonMatik ROBO, the first attempt at the integration of digital processes within fund management. FonMatik ROBO is a private pension fund robot that modifies fund distribution on behalf of participants according to market conditions, on the Internet branch and mobile branch in October 2019 for use by customers.
It earned the second prize in the “Digital Channels” category at the IDC Fintech Awards.
We began to offer Commercial loan life insurance product via İşbank’s Commercial Internet Branch and İşCep mobile app.

After completing the first phase of technological infrastructure transformation, we were given the Best Corporate Transformation Award at the “FinTech Projects of the Year” awards organized under IDC Turkey Financial Services Conference 2017.
We became the first and only private pension and life insurance company from Turkey to affiliate with the United Nations Environment Program - Finance Initiative (UNEP-FI).
We neutralized our 2016 carbon footprint within the framework of our Sustainability Management System and became a carbon neutral company.
We were the first company from Turkey to receive Customers’ Friend award granted by ICERTIAS, an international certification association, in recognition of our successful customer relationship management.

Within the scope of a global decision, HSBC Bank A.Ş., our agency’s solution partner, signed a contract with another pension company and began to conduct most of its new productions through that company.
We launched our "Gold Pension Fund (Gold Fund)”.
We established the "Contribution Pension Fund" (Contribution Fund) and "Alternative Contribution Pension Fund" (Alternative Contribution Fund) in which state contributions are directed to investments.
We paid the highest amount of state contributions to our customers in 2013.

We became the first pension company to reach TRY 4 billion mark in total private pension funds and 600,000 participants in the private pension system.

We opened our Antalya Regional Office and commenced operations.

As the pioneer in the sector once again, we introduced the "Pension Plan for Housewives" providing income for housewives without social security and supplementary income at older ages.
We transferred our health insurance portfolio and activities to Anadolu Anonim Türk Sigorta Şirketi pursuant to legislation.
We enabled online payment of private pension contributions and life insurance premiums via internet.
2003
We received our license after obtaining the transformation permit granted by T.R. Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Treasury and commenced our operations under the title of Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik A.Ş.
We issued our first private pension contract on October 27.
2002
We filed an application to remodel us as a private pension company in order to operate in this field following the publication of the Private Pension Savings and Investment System Law.
2001
We introduced the "Saving Insurance for Everyone" policy, Turkey's first insurance coverage without any age limitation and without requiring any health conditions.
We restructured our Bursa, Adana, İzmir and İstanbul branches as Marmara, South Anatolia, Aegean, İstanbul 1st and İstanbul 2nd regional offices.
2000
Anadolu Hayat Sigorta A.Ş. became the first publicly traded life insurance company.
We relocated to İş Towers in December which also houses İşbank subsidiaries.
1999
