Who We Are
We were established in 1990 as the “first life insurance company of Turkey”.
We continue with the excitement on our first day to provide private pension and insurance products that suit most to the current conditions and future expectations of our customers with our headquarters in İstanbul, our regional offices in İstanbul, Ankara, Adana, Bursa, İzmir, Kocaeli, Antalya, Trabzon and Diyarbakır, our branch in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, our direct sales team, our more than 400 agencies and our extensive bancassurance network.

Sezgin Yılmaz
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Mr. Yılmaz graduated from Uludağ University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics and started his career at Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. Bursa Branch in 1997 as an Officer. After working in various positions at İşbank, Mr. Yılmaz was appointed as Kayseri Regional Manager of SME Loans Allocation Department in 2012, İzmir Central Region I Manager of SME Loans Allocation Department in 2015, İzmir Central Region II Sales Manager of SME and SME Banking Sales Department in 2016.He worked as Support Services and Purchasing Manager in 2017, and as the Purchasing Manager in 2018. Mr. Yılmaz was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. on March 29, 2019 and served as a member of the Board of Directors. On July 29, 2020, Mr. Yılmaz was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive of Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. and is currently serving in this position. On March 24, 2023, he was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik.
Feray Demir
Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors
She holds a degree in Business Administration from Anadolu University and Sociology from İstanbul University. Mrs. Demir started her professional career as an Officer at İşbank Sefaköy Branch in 1988. After serving at various levels, she was appointed as Çarşı-Güneşli Branch Manager in 2005 and served as Commercial Banking Sales Department Manager between 2007 and 2011, and İstanbul Corporate Branch Manager between 2011 and 2016. Mrs. Demir served as a member of the Board of Directors of İşbank between 2016 and 2023. She has served a member of the Board of Directors of İşbank Members Supplementary Pension Fund between 2011 and 2023. She has been elected as a Board Director of Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik on 31 March 2023.
Serkan Uğraş Kaygalak
Board Director and CEO
Serkan Uğraş Kaygalak, started his career as an inspector at Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. Board of Inspectors, after graduating from Middle East Technical University, Department of Business Administration in 1997. Kaygalak, who worked in various positions at İşbank, was appointed as Deputy Manager at the Treasury Department in 2006 and Tarsus Branch Manager in 2008. Kaygalak, was promoted as Deputy Audit Head responsible for IT Audit in 2010 and then promoted as Card Payment Systems Division Head in 2013. Kaygalak completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2018. After that Kaygalak was appointed as Deputy CEO at Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. on July 29, 2020, he was responsible for variety of divisions such as Capital Markets, Private Banking and Payment Systems. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at İş Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. during the same period. He was promoted as the founder CEO of Pazarama as of January 2022. During that period Kaygalak also served as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at Moka Payment Enterprises Inc. He left his Pazarama CEO role in October 2024 and was appointed as the new CEO of Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik A.Ş.
Salim Can Karaşıklı
Director (Independent)
Karakışlı obtained his bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Business Administration at Boğaziçi University. From 1989 to 2005, he worked for Emek Sigorta, Aktif Finans Faktoring, Ekspres Faktoring, Toprak Leasing, Toprak Sigorta, Toprak Hayat Sigorta, and Toprak Yatırım Bankası (named C Bank and lastly Bank Pozitif). The positions he held in these institutions were, respectively, Analyst, Credit Risk Monitoring Director, Operations and Loans Manager, Deputy General Manager of Operations and Loans, General Manager, Board Member, and Chairman of the Board. He instructed finance in the MBA program at Bilgi University from 2004 to 2018. Since 2005, Karaşıklı has been serving as an independent board member and consultant for various companies and has published two books.
Prof. Dr. Nadir Eroğlu
Director (Independent)
Eroğlu, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Marmara University, earned his master's degree in 1992 and his doctorate degree in 1997 from the Department of Economic Policy within the Social Sciences Institute of the same university. He became Assistant Professor in 2001 and Associate Professor in 2006, respectively, in the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the same university. Between the years 2007 and 2010, he held the position of Head of the Capital Markets and Stock Exchange Department at the Marmara University Banking and Insurance Institute. Nadir Eroğlu, who became a Professor at Marmara University in 2011, served as a Member of the Board of Directors and Faculty Board at the Faculty of Economics between 2011 and 2015. Eroğlu, who served as Deputy Director of the Marmara University Banking and Insurance Institute from 2012 to 2015 and Head of the Banking Department from 2014 to 2015, has several published scientific books and articles.
M. Elif Germirli
Director (Independent)
M. Elif Germirli graduated from the Chemical Engineering Department of Boğaziçi University in 1990 and received her MBA in finance from Columbia University in the USA. She has held various positions in a number of departments at Citibank İstanbul including the capital markets and corporate finance departments until 2000. After working as a Director in the Global Securitized Markets at Citigroup in London between 2000 and 2007, the last position Elif Germirli held with the Citigroup was as a Director of Real Estate Finance for CEEMEA region. From 2008 to 2018, she worked for Tahincioğlu Holding as a Deputy Managing Director, CFO, and CEO respectively. Elif Germirli worked as an Auditor at the Council of Shopping Centers-Turkey and still serves as a Board Member at Germirli Turizm ve Ticaret A.Ş. Elif Germirli has been elected as a Board Director of Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik on 21 March 2019.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Erol
Director (Independent)
Ahmet Erol graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration with bachelor’s degree on International Economic Relations and started his professional career in 1986 as an assistant auditor at Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Finance Board of Auditors. He became finance auditor in 1989 and he was assigned to the United States by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Finance between 1993 and 1994 to conduct examinations and research on "Audit of Budget Expenditures in the United States". While he was in the United States, he gave a conference on "State and Control" at the University of Michigan. He was appointed as chief auditor to the Ministry of Finance in 1997. Between 1998 and 2001, he worked as a deputy manager at the Revenue Office of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance in Istanbul. He was appointed as assistant general manager at the General Directorate of the Mint and Stamp Printing House Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Treasury in 2001. In 2004, he was appointed as proxy General Manager in the same institution. Mr. Erol left his position 3 months later and was appointed as chief finance auditor in 2004. He retired from the Ministry of Treasury and Finance in 2020.
In addition to his professional career, he has been working as a lecturer at Kadir Has University, since its establishment (1997), Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Faculty of Law. Ahmet Erol gives lectures related to Turkish tax system, tax law, tax disputes and tax judiciary. Furthermore, Mr. Erol instructs Turkish Tax System courses in the master's and doctoral programs at Özyeğin University Faculty of Law. Between 2006 and 2011, he taught public finance and tax law at Yeditepe University Faculty of Law and Turkish tax system and tax law in the Public Law master's program at Özyeğin University Faculty of Law. Ahmet Erol received his Doctorate degree (PhD) in 2002 and became an associate professor of Finance (Financial Law) in 2005, was appointed as a professor of financial law at Istanbul Beykent University Faculty of Law in 2020 and continues to hold this position. Ahmet Erol was elected as a Board Member of Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik on October 16, 2023.
Gaffar Öney
Director
Gaffar Öney graduated from Muğla University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics. In 1998, he started working as an officer at Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. Topkapı Sanayi Sitesi/İstanbul Branch. After serving at various levels of Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş., Mr. Öney was appointed as Cihanbeyli/Konya Branch Manager in 2009 and as an Assistant Manager at the Antalya Regional Sales Department in 2011. After being appointed as Edremit/Balıkesir Branch Manager in 2013 and Eskişehir Branch Manager in 2016, he was promoted to the position of Antalya Regional Sales Manager in 2018. Gaffar Öney has been working as SME and Corporate Banking Sales Department Manager since April 28, 2021. Between 2021 and 2023, Mr. Öney served as a member of the Board of Directors of İş Net Elektronik Bilgi Ür. Dağ. Tic. ve İlet. Hiz. A.Ş. Between 2023 and 2024, Mr. Öney served as a member of the Board of Directors of Topkapı Danışmanlık Elektronik Hizmetler Pazarlama ve Tic. A.Ş. Mr. Öney was elected as a Board Member of Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik A.Ş. on March 22, 2024.
Umut Yiğit
Director
Mr. Umut Yiğit received his undergraduate degree in 1996 from Abant İzzet Baysal University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Administration. He completed his Master Degree in Banking and Finance, in 2020 at Bilgi University and is currently enrolled in Management and Information Systems Master Program at Beykent University.
He started his working life as a clerk at Merzifon Branch in 1998. After being promoted to İskilip/Çorum Branch Manager and Kutlukent/Samsun Branch Manager in 2006 and 2008 consequently, Mr. Yiğit was appointed as the Retail Sales Regional Assistant Manager at the Samsun Regional Sales Directorate in 2010. After working as Karabük Branch Manager in 2013 and Trabzon Branch Manager in 2016, he received the title of Trabzon Regional Sales Manager in 2019. Mr. Yiğit, who has currently been working as Istanbul-Avcılar Regional Sales Manager since May 2021, also carries the title of Auditor at TİBAŞ Members' Retirement Fund Foundation. Mr. Yiğit was elected as a Board Member of Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik on March 22, 2024.

Çağlar İlter
Director
Mr. Çağlar İlter received his undergraduate degree from Middle East Technical University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics. In 2002, he started working as an Intern Assistant Inspector at Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. He was appointed as Assistant Manager in the Retail Banking Product Department in 2011, and as a Unit Manager in the same Department in 2017 and was promoted to the position of Retail Banking Product Manager in 2022. Mr. İlter has been working as Retail Banking Marketing Manager since June 27, 2024. Mr. Çağlar İlter was elected as a Board Member of Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik on July 31, 2024.
Zeliha Göker
Director
Zeliha Göker graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Business Administration and started her career at Türkiye İş Bankası Subsidiaries Department as Assistant Specialist. After working in different units of Türkiye İş Bankası as responsible for the companies in which Türkiye İş Bankası participates, she was appointed as Assistant Manager in Subsidiaries Department of Türkiye İş Bankası in April 2017. She currently serves as Unit Manager in the Subsidiaries Department and holds seats in the board of directors of various group companies. On January 16, 2024, Zeliha Göker was elected as Board Director of Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik.

N. Cem Özcan

He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Ankara University in 1996. He started his working career as Assistant Inspector at İşbank in 1997. N. Cem Özcan, who served as Assistant Accounting Manager between 2005-2008 and as Accounting Manager between 2008-2020 at Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik, has been appointed as Deputy Chief Executive on 17 August 2020.
Zeynep Dolgun
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
After TED College, Zeynep Dolgun received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Science and a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Isik University, Istanbul. She also attended various trainings at Université Grenoble Alpes. She joined Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik in 2002 as Assistant Specialist at Research and Development Department. She later worked as Specialist and Assistant Manager at Agencies Department and Marketing Department. Zeynep Dolgun, who was appointed as Strategy and Corporate Performance Management Manager since July 2015, has been promoted to Deputy Chief Executive Officer on 16 November 2021.
Hakkı Altay
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Altay has completed his high school education at Darüşşafaka. He received bachelor’s degree in Economics from Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Hacettepe University. He began his career as an Assistant Inspector on Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik on 4 August 1997. He was appointed as Assistant Manager in Marmara District Office in 2006, as Manager in Customer Relations and Operations Department in 2009 and as Coordinator in 2013. Hakkı Altay was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer on 20 May 2022.
Tayfun Ceyhun
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
He received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Middle East Technical University in 1998. He started his working career as Software Specialist at İşbank in 1999. He served as Project Specialist, Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager at the Software Development Department. He was promoted to Assistant Manager position at the mentioned department in 2010. In 2011, he was appointed to Softtech as Manager and then promoted to Director position in the same year. Mr. Ceyhun was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik on 14 October 2020.

Deputy Chief Executive Officer
She graduated from Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. She started her career in 2002 as an Assistant Specialist at Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik Private Pension and Life Insurance Department. She started working as a Specialist in 2004 in the Marketing Department, and was promoted to Assistant Manager in 2011 and Manager in 2015. Diğdem Makaskesen having served as Marketing Manager between 2015-2021, was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer on 16 July 2021.
Ahmet Altınsoy
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
He has completed his middle school and high school education at American Robert College in İstanbul and holds a bachelor’s degree from Business Administration Department of Istanbul University and a master’s degree in Financial Management from Graduate School of Business of the same university. He started his career as Assistant Inspector at İşbank in 2002. After working on Board of Auditors (2002-2012) and in Retail Banking (2012-2022), Ahmet Altınsoy was promoted to Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik on 20 May 2022.

Corporate Social Responsibility Projects

Turkey’s only women-specific photo contest, “Shots From Life Seen By Women,” has turned into a platform that 28 thousand women photographers attended with over 107 thousand photographs since it was first held. The contest, having the theme of “About Life” and open to all professional and amateur women photographers. We present the award winning works to photography enthusiasts at exhibitions organized in various cities and these photos take their place in a special catalogue published each year.
With the vision for a better future, our goal is to spread the awareness of the production-consumption balance and the culture of upcycling by cultivating the habit of collecting seeds at an early age in children living in metropolises disconnected from nature.
Shots From Life As Seen By Women Photography Contest
To support the creativity of Turkish women through photography, we launched the photo contest that is called “Shots From Life As Seen By Women” in 2007. In this way, we offer women a platform where they can freely express themselves, their point of view on life and the world through photographs. Besides being the only competition that reaches the 18th year under the consultation of the Photographic Art Federation of Turkey, we are also pleased and very proud of organizing Turkey’s oldest and most widely attended corporational photo contest.

Tohum Kumbaram
Through the "Tohum Kumbaram" project initiated under the scope of our cooperation with the Wheat Association, we aim to raise awareness regarding seeds in children and their parents, to strengthen their bond with nature, and to help them develop learning outcomes and awareness about their responsibilities towards nature.
With the vision for a better future, our goal is to spread the awareness of the production-consumption balance and the culture of upcycling by cultivating the habit of collecting seeds at an early age in children living in metropolises disconnected from nature.
